| Hello, my name is Gail Gupton,
the owner of Atlanta Vintage Jewelry, a strictly online Internet business.
In the fall of 2003, my husband said if anything ever happened to him
he would like for me to have an online store selling vintage jewelry. He
felt I was not experienced enough to take over his business of
Video/Graphics,
transferring film to video and DVD, which we had owned since 1987, and
that a jewelry business would be something I would enjoy.
On October 24, 2003, he
started purchasing inventory of vintage necklaces, bracelets, earrings,
pins, and finger rings and told me he would build a web site in early
2004, when he had more time. Thirty days later, on November 23, 2003, he
passed away from a fatal heart attack, leaving me with his dream of a
business for myself.
Here I am, a widow. I have
built the web site myself from knowledge gained from my late husband over
a period of 8 years. Realizing there are plenty of web sites out there
selling jewelry of all kinds, I promise to provide quality vintage items
from the past and to give them new homes through this web site and my EBay
store, 'Orphaned Items'.
Beautiful artistic designer
jewelry should not be allowed to simply end up in someone's trash basket
when there is so much life and appreciation left. Every time I handle a
vintage piece I think of where it may have come from and what glamorous
woman may have worn it.
If you can appreciate nice
costume jewelry; if you would like to own glamorous and stunning pieces of
wearable art, please allow me to be of service to you. My future depends
on my customers' satisfaction.
Since
creating Atlanta Vintage Jewelry, I have also become an author of two
spiritual growth books
and audio CDs.
Thank you for your
interest.
